Sa Fabrica history and local area of Soller

Sa Fabrica is a stunning house with a definite wow factor, it was once upon a time a textile factory, one of the largest in Soller. The garden and terraces offer ample space to enjoy or hide from the sun and the enormous bbq and seating space is ideal for scrumptious gatherings. The exceptionally tall ceilings make the house cool in the summer. The main living area is open plan, making it ideal for socialising, yet it is large enough to be able to find a quite spot to snooze or play in.

Sa Fabrica was originally a textile factory and is stooped in village history as one of the biggest employers of the village, entire families used to work at Sa Fabrica. The building is magnificent, it was split into four dwellings by my mother and her partner, they kept this one as their home and show pad.

The village of Soller is in the bottom of the valley and the views from the house of the mountains surrounding are stunning.

Soller is a beautiful village with great eateries, shops, markets and crazy traditions, parks and activities for persons of all ages to enjoy.

The house is far enough from the square not to hear noise but makes it a doddle to get to the noise!

Ideally you will arrive by taxi or train (we love a bit of environmentally friendly travel!) and not require a hire car, however there is space to park one car in the garage or lots of bikes

Space and rooms

As a holiday home it is ideal for three couples or three families as there is ample room. It has a garage which can either be used to store bikes securely. Outside there is a long thin parking area suitable for three small cars.

Rates start from 350 euros per night (off peak season) based on 6 persons staying a minimum of 5 nights.

Please email Shayla for a quote and to check availability.

The house is split across three levels:
– the ground floor is open plan and decorated in a hunting lodge style, it includes a lounge (with two sofa beds) / dining area sitting up to 10 / kitchen / bathroom and a garden/BBQ
– the first floor has two en suite bedrooms and a massive games/chill out room/desk (with two sofa beds) and terrace overlooking the garden
– the second floor has a bedroom and bathroom

When we stay at the house we firmly press “lazy” button and make an effort to switch off, so if you enjoy cooking then you will be pleased with the appliances and gadgets the kitchen/BBQ has to offer, but if you want homemade meals and shopping delivered or even an exceptional personal chef then just say the word.

There are many fabulous restaurants in the village and the guest book should provide you with the latest restaurants we and our guests recommend. Eating as a family in the evenings can be tricky so if you need a babysitter we can put you in touch with one too.
